Welcome to the WangLembak site. 'Wang Lembak' means 'the Lembak people' in their language.

Our hope is that this site will open a bridge between cultures and allow you to get a glimpse of life amongst the Lembak. Because there is not much written or researched about these people, we would like to begin in small steps by making available what has been gathered so far. This is an ongoing research project based on participant observations, interviews, and community engagement.

Eventually we hope to broaden this site so that the Lembak can update it themselves and facilitate an ongoing dialogue to preserve this fascinating and unique culture.
